With a budget of Rs 1.8 crore and earning of Rs 453 crore at the box office, it became the biggest profitable film of 2026. If we look at the box office figures of 'Hanuman Ansh' and its financial report card, then it will be counted among the biggest miracles in the 113 years of history of Indian cinema. According to official reports from reputed box office tracking portal Sacknilk and Koimoi, the total production budget of this film was a mere Rs 1.8 crore. Despite being made on such a limited and micro budget, the film created a storm at the box office, leaving behind even the big-budget megastar films. The film achieved the rare feat of staying in theaters continuously for 91 days, which is considered almost impossible in today's cinematic era which is limited to two-three weeks. According to the data, the film registered a net collection of Rs 342.74 crore in India. At the same time, its total gross collection within the country crossed the huge figure of Rs 404.41 crore. Due to its tremendous popularity among NRIs in the international markets, the film also earned huge profits from foreign soil, due to which its total worldwide gross collection reached Rs 453.21 crore in its 91-day lifetime. Looking at the cost and profit mathematics, the film has achieved an incredible Return on Investment (ROI) of more than 25,000 percent compared to its original cost. This magical figure has unquestionably placed 'Hanuman Ansh' on the coveted throne of Bollywood's 'Most Profitable Film' of the year 2026. There was an uproar among the producers over crores of profits and rights, the dispute was resolved through a joint statement. Amidst this historic financial success, a big controversy had also come to light behind the scenes. After the film's phenomenal earnings, a tussle broke out between several co-producers, investors and production house heads over huge financial stakes and distribution of OTT rights. Everyone was presenting their claim regarding the ratio in which the huge amount received from the sale of digital and satellite rights of the film should be divided. Due to this tussle, the OTT release of the film remained in limbo for several weeks and many misleading rumors started spreading on social media. To avoid legal entanglement in the matter, the film's lead producer Namrata G Singh and talented director Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi had issued a detailed and formal joint statement under the official banner of Swambhu Media Network. In this public statement, point-by-point explanations were given about the film's intellectual property rights (IPR), distribution arrangements, digital rights and responsibilities of various partners. The final agreement with Sony Liv was signed only after a transparent financial settlement between all the parties. Only after this internal dispute was completely resolved, the date of 27th November has now been fixed, due to which not only the makers have heaved a sigh of relief but the long wait of the audience has also ended.
