In a Holidaze arrives on Netflix next month
Netflix has confirmed December 2, 2026, as the streaming date for In a Holidaze, a Christmas film starring Rob Lowe and Maddie Ziegler. The release will bring the holiday-themed movie to the platform next month, with a story that mixes family traditions, romantic complications, and a supernatural twist.
The film is an adaptation of Christina Lauren’s 2020 novel and marks a project written and directed by Tiffany Paulsen. The story follows Maelyn Jones, a young woman who returns to her family’s cabin for the Christmas holidays. After wishing for a happier life, she finds herself reliving the same week, with each repetition giving her another opportunity to reconsider her choices.
The film’s trailer introduces several of the personal issues Maelyn is dealing with before the strange events unfold. Her parents’ divorce has left her emotionally unsettled, and she admits that she is an “emotional wreck.”
Matters become more complicated when she accidentally kisses Theo instead of his older brother Andrew, whom she has been in love with. This prompts her to turn to her longtime friend Benny for advice. At the same time, the family faces the prospect of losing the cozy cabin where they have celebrated Christmas.
An accident then leads into the repeated holiday scenario. The cast also includes Graham Phillips, Elias Kacavas, Patton Oswalt, and Jackie Sandler. Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton are producing the film. Meanwhile, Dutton Billings, Galen Fletcher, and Lowe serve as executive producers.
