This important responsibility has been entrusted to him after the notification issued by the state government. Saraswati Kumari, originally from Saran district, has made a special identity in the education department on the basis of her administrative efficiency, experience and devotion. During his service tenure, he has held responsibilities on many important posts from the district level to the state headquarters. Her husband Akashdeep is an officer of Bihar Administrative Service. Presently he is working as the Assistant Secretary to the Advocate General, Government of Bihar.
Also played important responsibilities in the Secretariat of the Education Department:
Before being made the District Education Officer of Patna, Saraswati Kumari was posted as a retired officer in the Secretariat of the Education Department located at Vikas Bhawan. During this period, he also held important responsibilities as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Special Secretary in the Education Department. Apart from this, she has also served on the post of Deputy Director of Mid Day Meal Scheme.
While working on these important posts in the State Headquarters, he gained extensive experience in various schemes, administrative processes and operation of the educational system of the Education Department.
DEO in Jehanabad and DPO in Arwal and Patna:
Before being posted at the state headquarters, Saraswati Kumari had also performed many important responsibilities at the district level. She has been the District Education Officer of Jehanabad district. Apart from this, she has also served as District Program Officer (DPO) in Arwal and Patna districts. Having previously worked as DPO in Patna district, he has good knowledge of the educational and administrative system here.

As the new District Education Officer of Patna, Saraswati Kumari will have important challenges like improving the quality of education in government schools, solving the problems of teachers, regular running of schools, increasing the attendance of students and effectively implementing the educational schemes of the government.
