Apple is preparing to update its iPad lineup with new features and powerful hardware. According to reports, the company may launch three new tablets in the first half of 2027. These will include the next generation iPad Air, iPad Pro and the entry-level iPad 12. Major changes like OLED display, better cooling system and faster processor can be seen in the new models.
According to GSM Arena report, the next generation iPad Air is expected to have an OLED display. This may bring OLED technology to the iPad Air series for the first time. Apart from this, Apple's M5 chipset is likely to be given in this tablet. However, the company has not yet confirmed it officially.
At the same time, Vapor Chamber Cooling System can be found in the new iPad Pro. This technology will help in effectively dissipating excess heat and maintaining better performance for a longer period of time. Along with this, M6 chipset is also expected to be provided in the device.
Many important upgrades can also be seen in the entry-level iPad 12. According to reports, A19 chipset can be given in it, which is likely to support Apple Intelligence. Apart from this, it can get N1 chip and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. There is also talk of providing C1X modem in the cellular model.
However, Apple has not given any official information regarding the launch date and specifications of these three tablets. At present, their launch is considered possible in the first half of 2027.
