A 5-year-old boy was abducted by Trump officials while returning home from school, sparking an uproar.

US Immigration Officers Detain 5 Year Old Child: A very shocking incident has come to light from America. Federal agents detained a 5-year-old child along with his father while they were returning home from pre-school in Minnesota. Both have been sent to a detention center in Texas. According to Jenna Stanwick, Superintendent of Columbia Heights Public School District, Liam Conejo Ramos is one of the four minors detained. These also include two 17-year-olds and a 10-year-old.

Mark Prokosh, the Ramos family’s liaison, said Liam and his father were both living legally in the United States as refugee applicants. Photos circulating on social media after Liam’s detention showed heavily armed federal agents taking the 5-year-old away. In the photos, the child was wearing a blue cape and had a Spider-Man backpack slung over his shoulder.

ICE agents used the child as bait.

According to reports, when Liam and his father returned home from preschool on Tuesday, the child saw masked ICE agents detaining his father in the driveway of their home. He also alleged that the agents used the child as “bait” to try to lure his mother out of the house.

Columbia Heights School Board President Mary Granlund told reporters that Liam’s father had asked his wife to stay inside the house so they wouldn’t be detained. She said school officials, family members, and neighbors offered to take the child, but ICE officials flatly refused.

Kamala Harris lashed out at the Trump administration

Former US Vice President Kamala Harris sharply criticized the action. She wrote on the social media platform X that Liam Ramos is just a child and should be at home with his family, not being held in a Texas detention center as bait by ICE. “I am outraged, and you should be too,” she said.
