A big step in the protection of tourists in Pahalgaon, the traders have to follow the new rules of the government
Jammu and Kashmir administration has taken a big step to ensure the safety of tourists in Pahalgaon, one of the most popular tourist spots in the world. From now on, the QR code based identification system has been introduced to verify the information of every trader or service provider. Tourists no longer have to blindly trust anyone, be it a guide or a horseman. The complete identity and information of the concerned person can be obtained by scanning a QR code held by the merchants on the mobile. It is said that the new system is to reduce the fear that was created among the tourists after the terrible terrorist attack on April 22 last year.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration claims that as a result of this initiative, tourists will be able to travel to Pahalgaon safely and the tourism industry will also get a new boost. QR code based identity card system has been introduced for all local tourism service providers and traders. The documents of horsemen, local shopkeepers, hawkers or sellers from outside the state have been checked in detail by the police.
