Redmi 15A Price and Availability in India

The Redmi 15A smartphone has been launched in India in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB + 12GB and 4GB + 128GB RAM and storage variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage starts at Rs 12,999. While the 6GB + 12GB variant is priced at Rs 16,499 and the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 14,499. This new smartphone of the company is available for purchase in Black, Awesome Blue and Amaze Purple color options. The dual-SIM Redmi 15A smartphone is based on Android 16. which contains HyperOS 3.0. Redmi promises four years of Android updates and six years of security patches for this phone. This latest launch smartphone comes with AI-based features like Google Gemini, Circle 2 Search and Xiaomi Interconnectivity. The Redmi handset features a 6.9-inch HD+ display, with a refresh rate that varies between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. The screen supports a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz and is said to have a peak brightness of 800 nits.

The Redmi 15A features an octa-core T8300 5G SoC built on a 6nm process. Along with Mali-G57 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone’s RAM supports virtual RAM expansion, while the internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card.

Camera

Talking about photography and camera, the Redmi 15A features a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 32-megapixel main rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The front side of the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone features an IP52-rated build for protection against water and dust.

Battery and charging support

Redmi 15A has a 6,300mAh battery. Along with this, 15W wired charging support is provided. The smartphone battery also supports 7.5W wired reverse charging. The company claims that the battery can provide up to two days of backup once fully charged. The weight of this smartphone is 210 grams.
