Coup in Bangladesh! Catch the murderer of Mohammed Yunus Usman Hadi or leave the throne, Inquilab Manch threatens
Dhaka. Once again a political storm is going to hit the politics of Bangladesh. Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, who took charge of the country after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, is now himself standing at the brink of a major crisis. The student power and revolutionary organizations which considered him a ray of hope and placed him at the top of power, are now preparing to overthrow him.

Angered by the lack of arrest of the murderers of Usman Hadi, Inquilab Manch has threatened that if the murderers are not caught, Yunus will have to go. The spokesperson of Inquilab Manch said that if justice is not provided immediately in the case of the murder of Usman Hadi, then they will overthrow this interim government. The same slogans have again started echoing on the streets of Dhaka which were echoed against Hasina government a few months ago, but this time the target is Yunus Government.
Inquilab Manch is furious as no clue has been found about the murderer even after two weeks. On Monday, the officials of Inquilab Manch held a big meeting and gave a clear ultimatum to the Yunus Government. ‘Inquilab Manch’ spokesperson and prominent youth leader Usman Hadi was brutally murdered a few days ago. Usman Hadi was one of those faces who played an important role in bringing the winds of change in Bangladesh. His murder has shocked not only his organization but also the youth of the entire country.
After the murder, Inquilab Manch had given a definite time limit to the government to arrest the murderers. But, that deadline has now expired and the police’s hands are still empty. Angered by this, Inquilab Manch has now announced an all-out fight. The organization says that the government is trying to save the criminals or the administration has become completely ineffective.

Speakers made very harsh remarks at an emergency press conference and protest meeting called by Inquilab Manch. The leaders of the Manch said in one voice that if justice is not ensured in the case of the murder of Osman Hadi, then the Inquilab Manch will start a movement to remove the interim government from power. If we know how to form a government, we also know how to topple a government.
Alarm bells for Yunus
This statement is an alarm bell for Muhammad Yunus. The recent history of Bangladesh is witness to the fact that when the students and youth organizations there come together on any issue, even the biggest powers cannot stand. Inquilab Manch has alleged that Dr. Yunus’s government, which was brought in to establish the rule of law, has failed to protect its own supporters.
Serious questions on home advisor and police administration
The anger of Inquilab Manch is not only on Dr. Yunus, but especially on the Home Ministry and the police administration. The organization said in its statement that despite the passage of the deadline, no concrete steps have been taken by the Home Advisor or the concerned authorities to arrest the accused.

The protesters say that despite having clues about the killers of Osman Hadi, the police are sitting idle. They allege that the home advisor is not understanding the seriousness of this matter. The forum raised the question whether there are still loyalists of the old regime within the administration who are deliberately diverting the investigation? Or has the present government surrendered before the criminals? The members of the forum said that when prominent faces like Osman Hadi are not safe, then who will guarantee the safety of the general public? This failure directly reflects the administrative incompetence of the interim government.
Will Bangladesh rise again?
The threat of Inquilab Manch cannot be considered as mere rhetoric. The anger among the youth after the assassination of Osman Hadi can take the form of a big mass movement any time. Inquilab Manch has made its strategy clear that if the killers are not caught, they will bring the government work to a standstill. There will be a show of strength and siege of major government buildings in Dhaka. Will run a nationwide campaign against the Yunus Government and demand a new system. Experts of Bangladesh politics believe that if Inquilab Manch takes to the streets, other dissident groups may also join them. This will once again create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country, dealing with which will be like a tough task for the Yunus government.
