A criminal has no caste, police takes action considering the criminal as a criminal: Om Prakash Rajbhar

Lucknow: National President of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Cabinet Minister in Yogi government Om Prakash Rajbhar has once again attacked Akhilesh Yadav over the questions being raised on encounters. He issued a statement saying that a criminal does not have any caste. He said that if a criminal commits a crime then the police takes action against him. Taking a jibe at the opposition, he said that in the state 67 Muslims, 20 Brahmins, 19 Rajputs, 16 Yadavs, 24 OBCs and 26 other criminals have been killed in police encounters. Why do people not speak up on this, why are people raising their voice only on the death of Mangesh Yadav. He said that the police do not take action on the basis of caste. If a criminal commits a crime then the police takes action considering him a criminal.

On the question of the case registered against Awadhesh Prasad's son in Ayodhya, he said that what is new in this, whether it is an MP, a minister or an MLA, if anyone commits a mistake anywhere, he will be punished and the government takes action against him. He said that if the son of an MP does something wrong, a case will be registered against him and he will also be sent to jail. Regarding the matter of Prasad in Tirupati temple, Om Prakash Rajbhar said that the ban on outside Prasad in Mankameshwar temple in the capital Lucknow is a good initiative, investigation is being done, action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. It is worth noting that Akhilesh Yadav had raised serious questions on the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government regarding the encounter of Mangesh Yadav, he said that the police deliberately conspires 'murders' under the guise of encounters.

Addressing party workers and supporters, Akhilesh claimed that the recent police encounters with crime suspects, including Mangesh Yadav of Sultanpur, were part of a larger pattern of police action targeting members of the PDA (backward, Dalit and minority). “All limits of injustice have been crossed,” Yadav said. Questioning the legitimacy of these encounters, he said, “Can anyone imagine in today's times that a person will be gagged, tied up and beaten to death?” The former chief minister said the encounter story was fabricated. “It is well known that fake encounters have taken place in Uttar Pradesh under the BJP government.
