Nowadays, along with the traditional vada pav, many new varieties are also becoming very popular. One of them is Cheese Vada Pav. This vada pav is topped with potato patty or grated cheese, which makes it more creamy and tasty. Especially children and cheese lovers love this variety. Making Cheese Vada Pav at home is very easy. You can even make street style cheese vada pav using a few simple ingredients and the right method. So let’s know the recipe of cheese vada pav.

Materials:

  • 4 pav
  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • Water (to soak gram flour)
  • Cheese cube or grated cheese
  • Green Chutney and Garlic Chutney
  • Oil for frying

Make semolina-yogurt chilla for breakfast in the morning rush, it will be delicious for health or taste.

Action:

  • For this, first heat some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric and boiled potatoes to it and mash well. Add salt and saute the mixture well.
  • Make medium sized balls of the prepared mixture. Fill each ball with a little cheese.
  • Mix gram flour, salt, a pinch of baking soda and water in a bowl to make a thick dough.
  • Dip potato balls in gram flour and fry in hot oil until golden.
  • Cut the bread in the middle and spread green chutney and garlic chutney on it. Place vada in it and add grated cheese on top.
  • Serve the cheese vada pav hot.
