Bacchu kadu:- If we look at the leaders of Maharashtra politics, mainly Bacchu Kadu is a name that is fearless and raised his voice on the issue of farmers in Maharashtra, he is in power for the issue of disabled people but he keeps the rulers on edge, he calls many inefficient government officials to account and brings them to the table. Bachu Kadu is known to Maharashtra today as a fearless leader of the true poor.

He represents from Achalpur Assembly Constituency of Amravati District and has been elected for four consecutive times either through any party or through his own Prahar Jan Shakti Party. He has often been in the news all over Maharashtra for his agitations and slapping of officials.

You must have seen that even if there is a session of any legislature, they speak very aggressively on the issue of farmers and leave the rulers running away. It would not be wrong to say that the leader who knows the problems of the farmers intimately is Bachu Kadu. Till today, if we see the agitations of Bachu Kadu on farmers’ issues, they are equally fearless and of a different style.

They are always aggressive on the issue of farmers
Bachu Kadu is known as a leader who speaks clearly when it comes to farmers’ issues and takes action to solve them. If the authorities hesitate to solve the problems of the farmers, they have often argued with the authorities and not only that, they have even dared to raise their hands against the authorities.

As the government was not taking any measures to waive off the farmers’ loans, they once staged a Sholay style protest by climbing on a water tank during the Nagpur winter session and it became popular in the entire state. Interestingly, the then Deputy Chief Minister of the state RR Patil and Minister of State for Finance and Planning Sunil Deshmukh had to climb the water tank to discuss this issue with him.

And their 75 demands had to be accepted. If we see the affinity and work of Bachu Kadu towards the farmers, he has accepted the responsibility of the family of seven hundred suicide farmers and the education of their children.

He has also fought for the justice rights of tribals
In Maharashtra, if we look at the issues of the tribal brothers, in many places, the agricultural land that they have traditionally owned is still not in their name.

On this issue, there was a government ordinance to transfer the agricultural land owned by the tribals to them and due to its non-implementation, Bachu Kadu along with the workers had buried themselves up to their necks in that agricultural land and this protest was done in a different way especially to draw the attention of the government and the protest was discussed in the entire state. .

Not only this, they had announced a snake release protest at the officer’s house to protest against the forest officials’ indifference to the tribal community’s demand for forest leases and on the very next day, forest leases were granted to the tribals. Thus the fear of their agitation is also at the administration level.

The topic of discussion was the auction movement of officers’ chairs
We know that when many people go to taluk place for government work and do not meet the officials on time and often people face a lot of problems.

When Bachu Kadu realized this kind of problem, he took up the movement of auctioning officers’ chairs and deposited the proceeds in the government coffers. The result of the agitation was that officers and employees started attending the office hours to do people’s work.

We know that earlier there was a very large problem of load regulation in rural areas. In comparison, the power supply in urban areas used to be smooth. In protest against this injustice, Bachu Kadu staged a protest outside the office of Amravati Electricity Corporation.

During this protest, there was a clash between the police and the protestors and many activists were injured. But the Energy Mantra had to take notice of this movement and ordered to reduce the load shedding by two hours.

Asood Yatra was taken from Devendra Fadnavis’ village to Prime Minister Modi’s village
Bachu Kadu’s Asood Yatra is very famous among the popular agitations till date. In 2017, he had undertaken a Asood Yatra from then Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ village to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vadnagar village.

But many efforts were made through the government to block this journey. But Bachu Kadu disguised himself and gained entry to Gujarat and went to Vadnagar village and donated blood. Through this, he had given a message to the government to take the blood of the country’s farmers, but not to take their lives.

Raised voice in the Legislature for the disabled
Bachu Kadu not only fought on the streets for the disabled but raised his voice equally loudly in the legislature. Prepared to deal with the administration on occasion. Only Bachu Kadu has shown the courage to teach a lesson to the authorities who neglected whatever work the disabled brothers had.

Later, however, the entire administration was united in opposition to Bachu Kadu. But still, Bachu Kadu did not back down. In these cases, a case was registered against Bachu Kadu for assaulting the officers and he was arrested. But Tasubhar also did not back down from his stand for the disabled brothers.

Various types of crimes will be registered against many leaders of Maharashtra. But Bachu Kadu is such a leader that he is the only leader who has been arrested for the agitation for the disabled brothers and for their welfare and for that. Also, this is the only leader who is fighting for the disabled and fighting for their issues is famous all over India. The central government also had to take note of the demands of Bachu Kadu and in 1995, the Rehabilitation of the Disabled Act was enacted.

But this law remained a document and Bachu Kadu fought for that too. Due to the fight and agitation given for the disabled brothers, the help that the disabled brothers were getting from six hundred rupees per month was increased to Rs.

Due to the efforts of Bachu Kadu, the disabled got reservation in the local self-government bodies
In Maharashtra, 3 percent of allotment was started for disabled people in Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats, Municipalities and Municipal Corporations and 3 percent reservation was given to disabled people in local self-government bodies. On this occasion, it was this sanjeevan that got the implementation of Divyang Rehabilitation Act and its real owner was Bachu Kadu.

Not only that, he did not protest to get justice for the differently-abled brothers, but he dared to take many kinds of measures with the aim of doing something concrete for it. Just as there are ministries for different categories, he also started pursuing a separate ministry for the differently-abled brothers.

He was also given the post of Minister of State in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. It was during this period that he demanded the establishment of a separate ministry for disabled brothers. But they did not get any response from the ruling Thackeray government. Because of this, he resigned from the state ministership and supported Eknath Shinde.

After that, he asked Eknath Shinde for a separate ministry for disabled brothers and Shinde accepted it. In this way, Maharashtra became the first state in the country to have a separate ministry for the differently-abled.

Also it became easy for them to plan new plans and make budgetary provision for it. Until today, the disabled brothers have endured a lot of hardships. But it is certain that Bachu Kadu’s efforts have dawned a bright future in his life.
