Tech-savvy youth participating in the National Data Hackathon will have to come up with data-driven suggestions for Aadhaar cards. In this, many steps will be taken from ways to keep Aadhaar card safe to spreading awareness among people. If the government organization likes the suggestions of the participants, they will be given a certificate along with a cash prize. For this you have to register first. Follow these steps to register

The government agency has announced a prize of Rs 5 lakh and a certificate to 5 innovative ideas for the National Data Hackathon.

  • A cash prize of Rs 2,00,000 will be awarded to the first place contestant.
  • A cash prize of Rs 1,50,000 will be given to the runner-up.
  • A cash prize of Rs 75,000 will be given to the third runner-up.
  • A cash prize of Rs 50,000 will be awarded to the fourth runner-up.
  • A cash prize of Rs 25,000 will be given to the fifth runner-up.

The registration for the National Data Hackathon will start from 5th January 2026. Users can share their ideas with the agency from January 5 to January 20, 2026. For this, users have to visit the official website of Aadhaar or go to event.data.gov.in website. Submit your idea on the website by filling in your name, mobile number etc. Out of the ideas submitted by the agency, the 5 best ideas will be awarded prize money.
