Major accident happened with the convoy of former CM of Jammu and Kashmir, car crashed due to collision with Nilgai

New Delhi: The car in the convoy of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah has met with an accident in Dosa, Rajasthan. He had left for Ajmer from Delhi with the convoy. This accident happened on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway around 1:45 pm on Friday. It is being told that suddenly Nilgai came in front of the car of his convoy and this accident happened. The escorting Delhi Police car was damaged in this accident.

According to the information, this accident happened due to the sudden arrival of a Nilgai in front of the convoy car. A Nilgai suddenly came in front of the convoy car and the car collided with it badly. Due to this, the Delhi Police car which was escorting it also became a victim of the accident. Both the front airbags of the car had opened due to the collision. It is being told that Farooq Abdullah is safe in this accident. When this accident happened, he had left for Ajmer Dargah to visit. Pappuram Meena, head constable of Delhi Police, who was riding the escorting car, said that near the Bhandarej interchange of Dausa Sadar police station, a Nilgai suddenly jumped out of the trees in front of the convoy car and came in front of the car.

Police engaged in investigation

Giving information in this matter, Dausa Deputy SP Raviprakash Sharma said that a total of 5 cars were present in the convoy during the accident. He further said that former CM Farooq Abdullah's car was running at the back. The Nilgai collided with the Delhi Police escort car following the CM's car. The bonnet of the car has been damaged in this accident. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah is the father-in-law of former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot. However, now there is no relationship between Sachin Pilot and Abdullah's daughter Sara. Both of them have been divorced. The fortunate thing is that the airbags of the vehicle opened during the accident, due to which the lives of the police personnel traveling in it were saved.
