Big blow to Uddhav Thackeray before BMC elections, former corporator Tejashwi Ghoshalkar joins BJP.

Mumbai Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has suffered a major setback on Monday, just before the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Former BMC corporator and UBT leader Tejasvi Abhishek Ghosalkar has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Tejasvi, wife of UBT leader Abhishek Ghosalkar, was murdered in his office by Morris Bhai. Tejashwi’s father-in-law is senior UBT leader and former MLA Vinod Ghoshalkar. This family is considered very close to the Thackeray family, especially since the time of Balasaheb Thackeray, but today the Ghoshalkar family broke its ties with the Thackeray family and Tejashwi joined BJP.

Tejashwi can contest elections on BJP ticket

Tejashwi leaving UBT and joining BJP just before BMC elections is being considered a big blow for the party. Political analysts say that this move could pose a challenge to UBT in the upcoming elections. Due to which his seats may reduce in BMC. According to sources, Tejashwi may contest elections on the party ticket after leaving the Uddhav faction and joining BJP.
