Man Survives Elephant Trampling : A shocking case has come to light from Dhenkanal district of Odisha, where a person survived an elephant attack despite being seriously injured. The incident took place in the Govindpur-Talbarakot forest area of Talbarakot area, where a man named Vidyasadhar Behera encountered a lone wild elephant. The video of this entire incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, seeing which people are considering it no less than a miracle.

Man crushed by elephant but still alive
It can be seen in the viral video that suddenly the elephant comes running fast towards the person and throws him on the ground. Within seconds the situation becomes extremely dangerous, when the elephant stands over him with its huge body and starts pressing him.
For a few moments the person remains completely buried under the elephant and is unable to move. This scene is extremely scary and takes the breath of the viewers. But then suddenly the elephant retreats and returns to the forest for no apparent reason. This video was shared by many users on social media.

Warning to people to be alert
Even after the attack, Vidyasadhar Behera does not lose courage and is seen trying to get up himself. Despite serious injuries, he is still able to walk a few steps, which is a surprise for people. Locals immediately reach the spot and take him to the hospital, where doctors confirm serious injuries on his legs, hands and head.
At present his condition is said to be critical but stable. The Forest Department has also warned the people of the area to be alert and informed that a herd of about 30 elephants is active in the surrounding forests. People have been advised to stay away from forest areas especially in the morning and evening.
