A case of fraud by taking personal documents in the name of job has come to light. The victim suddenly received a notice from Karnataka Income Tax on 31 January 2023 at his house in Siwan. This revealed that Viraj Enterprises company has been opened in his name. Transactions worth Rs 48 crore have taken place on its account in 2020-21 and Rs 35 lakh 5 thousand in 2019-20. Explanation was sought for this. According to Karan Kumar Ram, PAN and Aadhaar card were taken on the pretext of job of data operator. After giving the job of data operator, asked for personal documents in the name of opening salary account. Removed from job after about eight months. Saurabh met Dwivedi in Delhi through a friend, who was a resident of Madhya Pradesh. He got the job of data operator at a salary of Rs 15 thousand. Saurabh Dwivedi asked for Pan card and Aadhar card from all the new employees to open salary account in the bank. Karan Kumar Ram had to go to the village in 2019 for some important work. Later Saurabh Dwivedi called and refused to come to the job. After this Karan did not return to Delhi.
When the income tax notice came after five years, I was shocked. Actually it was asked that you have a company, which has done transactions of Rs 35 lakh in 2019-20 and Rs 48 crore in 2020-2021. Asked to clarify this. The victim did not believe it, but when two more notices came, his ears perked up. Therefore, first filed a suit in the court and then complained to the police on 22 July 2025. Karan Kumar Ram (40) lives with his family in Siwan district of Bihar. In the complaint given to the police, it was told that he had come to Delhi in search of a job in April 2019.
The victim filed a case in Siwan District Court claiming himself innocent. A second notice came from the Income Tax Department of Gurgaon on 19 December 2023, in which clarification was asked on the transaction of Rs 48 crore. Karan sent the court case number and reply through post on 29 December 2023. After this, the third notice came from ITO ward of Siwan.
