A massive explosion took place in an explosives manufacturing factory in Nagpur, 15 people died.
Nagpur: At least 15 people died in a blast at an explosives manufacturing factory in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district on Sunday morning. Police said that the explosion took place in the factory of ‘SBL Energy Limited’, a company that manufactures explosive materials for mining and industrial works, located at Raulgaon in Katol tehsil.
Representatives of SBL Energy Limited said that the incident took place between 7 am and 7.15 am at the company’s detonator packing unit. Police said that the injured were admitted to a hospital in Nagpur soon after the blast. A company official said that the rescue operation is ongoing and they will issue a statement soon.
