Anand Ramanand Sagar Chopra, elder son of Ramanand Sagar, the great director of historical religious serial like ‘Ramayana’, passed away this morning. The Sagar family confirmed this sad news on Instagram. Anand took up his father’s legacy and made an important contribution in conveying the mythological stories to the new generation. His last rites took place in the evening at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai.
