Prostitution racket running under the guise of spa center in Lajpat Nagar busted, 9 women rescued, 2 managers arrested

According to Delhi Police, on the evening of February 12, information was received that wrongdoing was being done under the guise of massage in the spa running under the name of Vegas Spa on the ground floor and Vedika Wellness Spa on the first floor in A-117, Lajpat Nagar.

After the information was confirmed, a special police team was formed and both the floors were raided simultaneously at around 7:20 pm. Police found five women and a manager on the ground floor. During the search, 18 condoms were recovered from the reception drawer. Four women and a manager were present on the first floor. From the inquiry and the situation at the spot, it became clear that prostitution was being conducted here in the name of wellness service.

Delhi Police arrested the two managers of the spa, Arnish D. Senapati alias Rahul and Vipin Vashishtha alias Ravi, who were involved in the prostitution business going on in the spa. A case has been registered against both of them under sections of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

During interrogation, the accused told that they used to take money from customers and send it to women and keep commission. Advertisements and advertisements were used to attract customers. The rescued women are being given counseling and necessary help. Now the police has started investigating this entire matter.
