The nomination process for the election session 2025-26 of District Bar Association (DBA) Sonbhadra started on Monday. On the first day, a total of 9 candidates, including one each for the post of President, Senior Vice President and General Secretary, took nomination papers for various posts. Forms will be available on 24th February also and candidates will also file their forms. Due to which the election excitement has intensified.
Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Kumar Yadav Advocate said that Satyaprakash Singh Advocate has taken the nomination for the post of President. Bindu Yadav Advocate has taken nomination for the post of Senior Vice President and Rajendra Kumar Yadav Advocate has taken nomination for the post of General Secretary. Apart from this, Chaturbhuj Sharma Advocate for Vice President above 10 years, Ashutosh Dev Pandey Advocate for Vice President below 10 years have also taken nomination papers. Whereas for junior executive member, Chandrakala Giri Advocate, Suman Advocate, Martand Pratap Singh Advocate and Raman Kumar Advocate have taken nomination papers.
The Chief Electoral Officer also informed that the last date for sale of nomination papers is Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Whereas the candidates will also be able to file their nomination papers on 24th February. Let us tell you that as soon as the nomination process started, the candidates for President, General Secretary, Senior Vice President and Vice President have started contacting the voters along with their supporters, due to which the election activity has intensified.
Pradeep Kumar Maurya Ed, Pawan Kumar Singh Ed, Chandraprakash Singh Ed, Shanti Verma Ed and Assistant Election Officers Suresh Singh Kushwaha Ed and Rajkumar Singh Patel Ed were present to assist in the elections.
