The Government of India has started the services of Aadhaar enrollment and updating in post offices through the Department of Posts. According to the official website of the Postal Department, mainly two types of services are being provided in the Post Office Aadhaar Centres.

Aadhaar Enrolment:- People's biometric information is captured electronically in the enrollment process. And it's completely free. Aadhaar Update:- Under this, people can update name, email ID, mobile number, address, date of birth, biometric update, photo, 10 fingerprints and iris.
