Aakash Chopra made the playing XI of the players who were out of T20 World Cup, here also Shubman’s card was cut.

T20 World Cup 2026: The team for T20 World Cup 2026 has been announced by the Indian Cricket Board last week. Rinku Singh and Ishan Kishan were suddenly given place in the 15-member team captained by Suryakumar Yadav. Due to which Shubhman Gill and Jitesh Sharma had to lose their places. Meanwhile, former Team India batsman and current commentator Aakash Chopra has prepared the playing eleven of those players who have not been given a place in the World Cup. The surprising thing is that Shubman could not find a place in this also.

Because of this Shubman was thrown out

Aakash Chopra has shared a video on his social media handle. In which he has formed a team with the players who were not selected in the T20 World Cup 2026. In this he has not given place to Shubman Gill, giving the reason behind this he said that there is no need of anchor in T20 now. He said,

“You will ask why I did not choose Shubman, when there is no need for an anchor in the T20 format then why should I keep a player as an anchor. Gill is the only player who does not fit in this team.”
