Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann gave a virtual address at the rally organized under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. He said that whenever Aam Aadmi Party has faced any challenge, the party has emerged stronger. Describing Jantar Mantar as the party’s struggle ground, he said that one gets new energy from here.
Those who speak the truth do not need to remember anything
Bhagwant Mann said that the power of truth is the greatest. Those who speak the truth do not need to remember anything, because the truth always remains the same. He said that Aam Aadmi Party has brought a culture of honesty and work in the politics of the country. Now issues like education, health, electricity, employment and basic facilities have become prominent in electoral politics. He said that the party leaders did not lose courage even in difficult times. Even when many big leaders were in jail, the organization worked strongly. Referring to the Jalandhar by-election, he said that despite limited resources, the party went among the people and won their trust.
Even in jail, public problems were the priority – CM Mann
Bhagwant Mann told that even when he used to go to meet Arvind Kejriwal in jail, his priority was the problems of the public. They used to ask whether people were getting free electricity or not, whether the water system for farmers was good or not. His clear instructions were that corruption will not be tolerated.
Punjab will always stand like a rock with the party
Giving the example of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, CM Mann said that change comes only through struggle and sacrifice. History is witness to the fact that those who follow truth and courage ultimately achieve success. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the people of Punjab will give an overwhelming majority to the Aam Aadmi Party in the 2027 assembly elections. He said that Punjab has always stood with the party like a rock and will continue to do so.
