AAP leader Anurag Dhanda expressed concern over pollution, said – there was no discussion in the three-day session
The increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR has attracted everyone’s attention. Not only this, the states adjacent to Delhi are also facing the brunt of pollution these days. Meanwhile, Anurag Dhanda, media in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana, has expressed concern over the increasing pollution in the state. Dhanda issued a statement on Tuesday raising questions regarding the only three-day winter session of the Haryana Assembly. He said that no work issue was discussed in the three-day session. Especially how to remove the increasing pollution. There was no discussion about how the public would get relief from this.
The session remained a formality
The AAP leader said that the winter session of Haryana Assembly remained a mere formality. Nothing meaningful happened in all three. Neither was any issue of the state discussed. Efforts are being made to avoid discussing public problems.
The public chose not to recite poetry but to find solutions.
Anurag Dhanda alleged that instead of becoming the voice of the people, the Haryana Assembly has become a platform for the poetry of BJP and Congress. Where serious issues like unemployment, crime, scams and pollution should have been debated in the House, only poems and rhymes are being heard. He said that the public has elected MLAs not for reciting poetry but for asking questions and finding solutions.
AAP leader Anurag Dhanda expressed concern over the continuously worsening pollution in Haryana. He said that the air has become poisonous in the entire state, especially in the districts adjoining NCR. In cities like Rohtak to Palwal, Faridabad and Hisar, people are experiencing difficulty in breathing, the health of children and the elderly is being directly affected. Patients are increasing in hospitals, but everyone has maintained silence on this deadly crisis. Neither is there any serious discussion on pollution in the assembly session nor is any concrete action plan being put forward to provide relief to the public.
