After MPs’ reversal, now fear of losing MLAs, AAP calls all its MLAs to Jalandhar

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party seems to be facing a big political crisis in Punjab at present. After seven Rajya Sabha MPs left the party and joined BJP, the biggest concern has now increased regarding the Punjab organization. The party leadership is afraid that the same effect may befall the MLAs, so now the damage control exercise has been intensified. In this series, party’s Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia has called an important meeting of all the MLAs in Jalandhar on April 29. Not only MLAs, but also block observers and heads of frontal organizations have been asked to be present in this meeting. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also attend this meeting. It is believed that during this time, efforts will be made to understand the displeasure of the MLAs and prevent a possible rift within the party.

According to sources, there are many MLAs in Punjab who are said to be dissatisfied for a long time due to not getting ministerial post or feeling ignored in the organization. This is why the party leadership wants to handle the situation before any major loss. It is being told that Manish Sisodia, who returned after leaving the Gujarat municipal election campaign, had a long meeting with Arvind Kejriwal, in which the political situation in Punjab was seriously discussed. As per the strategy, the party has given the responsibility of handling the situation in Delhi to Sanjay Singh, while the responsibility of Punjab has been handed over to Manish Sisodia himself. It is believed that the leadership now wants to ensure at every level that there is no further split in the party.

In this entire incident, the names of Raghav Chadha and Dr. Sandeep Pathak are most discussed. After Raghav Chadha joined BJP, it was claimed that more than 60 MLAs of Punjab were in touch with him. Whereas Dr. Sandeep Pathak, who was the main face of organizational strategy in Punjab for a long time, is now being considered a big challenge for the party. It was he who had created a strong assembly constituency-wise network and closely understood the political position of almost every MLA. Now everyone’s eyes are on the meeting to be held in Jalandhar, where it can be decided whether Aam Aadmi Party will be able to overcome this crisis or there will be a big political explosion in the politics of Punjab.
