Samosa is the best snack to eat in the evening. Which is liked to be eaten with evening tea in most of the houses. However, many people are unable to eat it despite liking it because it is made of flour. Today we are going to tell you how to make samosa from wheat flour which will also be good for health. Ingredients required to make flour samosa

For the dough:
– Flour (ordinary wheat flour): 1 cup
– Ghee or oil: 2 tbsp
– Salt: as per taste
– Water: As per requirement (to knead the dough)

For potato filling:
– Boiled potatoes: 3-4 (mashed)
– Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
– Green chilli: 1 (finely chopped)
– Ginger: 1 tsp (grated)
– Coriander powder: 1/2 tsp
– Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
– Masala (garam masala or chaat masala): 1/2 tsp
– Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
– Salt: as per taste
– Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
– Green Coriander: 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
– Water: 1-2 tbsp (if required)

How to make flour samosa

1. Kneading the Dough:
1. Add flour, salt and ghee in a vessel and mix well.
2. Now slowly add water and knead the dough into a soft and slightly stiff dough.
3. After kneading, cover the dough and keep it aside for 20-30 minutes.

2. Preparing Potato Filling:
1. Heat some oil in a pan.
2. Add finely chopped onion, green chilli and ginger and fry lightly.
3. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt and fry the spices well.
4. After this add boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well.
5. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes and then add green coriander and mix well.
6. Keep the filling aside to cool.

3. Making Samosa:
1. After 20-30 minutes, knead the dough again and make small balls.
2. Roll out each circle a little thick with a rolling pin (about 4-5 inches in diameter).
3. Cut it in half so that you get the shape to make a half circular samosa.
4. Now take a half circle and wet its edge with water.
5. Fold it into a triangle shape and fill the filling.
6. Then seal its edges by pressing them well.

4. Fry Samosa:
1. Heat enough oil in a pan (keep the oil on medium flame).
2. Carefully drop the samosas into the oil and fry until golden and crispy.
3. Fry the samosas well by rotating them.
4. Take out the fried samosas on oil absorbent paper.

5. Serving Method:
– Serve samosas with hot green chutney or sweet chutney. The taste of flour samosas is amazing, and everyone likes it!
