ABC Pro Basketball League Season 4 begins in Pune Gujarati
Mumbai: Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse inaugurated Season 4 of ABC Pro Basketball League in Pune. Addressing the gathering, Raksha Khadse said, “The ABC Pro Basketball League embodies the spirit of the youth of the country and our aspiration to become a sporting superpower. It is truly inspiring to see the passion and talent here today, which is in perfect sync with our government’s ‘Khelo India’ initiative.”
ABC Pro Basketball League Season 4 was inaugurated at Rajaram Bhiku Pathare Stadium in Kharadi, Pune on Sunday. The events began with the first match at 4 pm, setting the tone for the entire season. Then the inauguration ceremony was held at 5:15 pm. The ceremony included the singing of the national anthem and a march by the participating teams, which ended with an exciting exhibition match.
Minister of State for Sports Khadse had a heartfelt interaction with the participating teams and organizers and emphasized the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to make sports an integral part of every child’s lifestyle and promote excellence in sports right from childhood. He praised the work of ABC Fitness Firm, Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and all associated partners in realizing this vision.
“Investing in such grassroots games is very important. Every point, every strategic pass, is a step towards building a healthier, more competitive and united India, taking you closer to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India, where every talent gets the right platform as per their talent,” he said.
