Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) Protested at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar regarding alleged irregularities in the examination system, paper leaks and problems of students. The demonstration was led by party founder Abhijit Deepke. Controversy arose in the protest when Delhi Police had given permission for it only till 5 pm, but Deepke refused to end the protest. He clearly said that the movement will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.

1. Why did the demonstration start? CJP and the students involved in the protest allege that questions are continuously being raised in the examination system of the country. Students have been angry for a long time regarding paper leaks, delay in exams and transparency. The protesters say that accountability should be fixed in matters related to the future of the youth. Students raised their voice at Jantar Mantar regarding this demand.

2. What is the demand of Abhijeet Deepke? CJP Founder Abhijeet Deepke During the protest, he said that the way for talks with the government is open, but his main demand is that Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should take responsibility and step down from the post. He also appealed to the police to extend the permission for the demonstration. Deepke said that if an arrest is made, he is ready to be the first to arrest him.
