Rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce have been put to the rest, after couple arrived together to watch their daughter Aaradhya’s annual day function on Thursday in Mumbai. Several videos of the couple surfaced online supporting each other. However, one video sparked curiosity when Aishwarya Rai was escorting her mother Brinda Rai to the car while Abhishek was seen maintaining a noticeable distance.

In the viral clip, Aishwarya holds her mother’s hands while Brinda struggles to get out of the car. Abhishek stands by without offering any help. Later, he was seen walking behind his wife and daughter who were helping Brinda to reach her car. This incident grabbed eyeballs as junior Bachchan was seen maintaining his distance from Aishwarya while she was assisting her mother.

Regarding their ongoing divorce rumours, neither Aishwarya nor Abhishek haven broken their silence yet. Well, speculations of discord in their marriage began from Anant Ambani’s wedding. While Aishwarya arrived with her daughter alone, the rest of the Bachchan family-Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek Navya, Shweta, Agastya Nanda were spotted together. This sparked curiosity among fans, speculating that something is not right between the couple.

However, Amitabh Bachchan addressed these speculations last month indirectly. In his cryptic yet profound writing, he addressed the unverified claims and spoke about the importance of privacy. “Speculations are speculations… they are speculated untruths, without verifications… Verifications are sought by the seekers to authenticate their business and commercials of the profession they be in.” Big B wrote.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in April 2007. The couple welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in November 2011.
