ACB action in Bengabad, Giridih, revenue worker and broker arrested red handed for taking bribe
Giridih ACB team has taken a major action against corruption in Giridih. The ACB on Thursday arrested six revenue sub-inspectors (employees) of Bengabad zonal office and a broker while accepting bribes. This arrest is related to demanding bribe in exchange for mutation.

According to the information, the plaintiff had applied for registration and rejection of the land of Mauza Motileda of Bengabad zone (account no. 74, Khesra-4045, Rakwa-7.34 decimal) in the name of his daughter Lakshmi Kumari Varnwal. According to the complainant, when he met the CO, he was asked to meet Motileda Panchayat employee Surendra Yadav.

On December 16, when the complainant met employee Surendra Yadav, he demanded a bribe of fifteen thousand rupees from him for filing and rejecting. However, the complainant did not want to get the work done by paying bribe. After which he complained about it to Dhanbad ACB.

ACB verified the allegations, in which the demand for bribe was found to be true. After this, on Thursday, ACB hatched a plan and caught Revenue Sub-Inspector Surend Yadav and primary accused Mukesh Kumar (middleman) red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 6,000 from Bengabad zonal office.
