ACB arrested a clerk in Hazaribagh, he was demanding bribe for renewal of license

Hazaribagh: Anti-Corruption Bureau (Divisional Office) Hazaribagh on Tuesday arrested a clerk who was working in the Regional Transport Authority office Hazaribagh. It is alleged that the clerk had demanded a bribe of Rs 6,000 from a person in the name of renewing the bus permit.

According to the bureau, a person named Raj Kumar had lodged a complaint that clerk Vikas Kachhap had demanded bribe from him. The bureau started investigation on this complaint and found that the allegations were true. After this, the clerk was arrested today.

Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hazaribagh said that after the arrest, legal action will be taken against the clerk.
