New Delhi : A good news has come for ACC, one of the largest cement companies in the country's cement sector. It is being told that in the second quarter of the current financial year 2024-25 i.e. from July to September, the company has made a profit of about Rs 200 crore. After the end of the month of September, when the quarterly results of the company came out, it was revealed that the net profit of the company was Rs 199.7 crore.
ACC Ltd on Thursday reported its July-September quarter financial results to the stock market. The company had earned a net profit of Rs 387.88 crore in the same period of the last financial year. ACC's operating revenue during the quarter under review stood at Rs 4,613.52 crore as against Rs 4,434.73 crore in the year-ago period. This is its highest revenue in the last 5 years.
This much has been the total expense
The company's total expense in the last quarter was Rs 4,452.73 crore, whereas it was Rs 4,127.11 crore in the same period a year ago. However, the company said the September quarter and first half results cannot be compared with the same time last year. In fact, these also include the integrated financial results of Asian Concretes and Cements Private Limited i.e. ACCPL, whose control was taken over by ACC Limited on January 8, 2024.
