Accident during cricket match, bowler fell on the field as soon as he completed the over; death in hospital

Desk. A heart-wrenching accident came to light during a local cricket tournament being played in Jammu and Kashmir. A few moments after completing the bowling in the middle of the match, a player suddenly fell on the field. Fellow players immediately took him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. After this incident, there was mourning in the entire ground and the match had to be stopped midway. This tragic incident happened during the third season of Bhalesa Chenab Premier League i.e. BCPL. The deceased player has been identified as Suhail, who was playing for Badshah 11 Bhalesa team against YCC Gymkhana Kishtwar.

According to eyewitnesses, Suhail had completed his second over. After the over was over, he bent down to tie his shoelaces. As soon as he stood up, his health seemed to be deteriorating and he started trying to maintain balance. After controlling himself for a few seconds, he started walking, but suddenly fell on the ground. Seeing this, fellow players and people present immediately ran to help him.

He was immediately taken to the hospital, but the doctors there declared him dead. A few years ago, a similar incident was seen during a local cricket match in Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra. In the live telecast of the match, a vehicle was also seen entering the ground, from which Suhail was taken to the hospital. At present the exact cause of his death has not been revealed. The body has been sent for post-mortem. After the completion of the process, the body will be handed over to the relatives. Suhail’s family is said to be a resident of Bhaderwah area of ​​Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Suhail was bowling brilliantly before the accident. He took 2 wickets for only 8 runs in two overs. Batting first, his team scored 147 runs in 12 overs, in which Adil Mir played an important inning of 75 runs in 38 balls. After this, Suhail came on the field while defending the goal. This match was being played in the sports stadium located at Thaloran in Gandoh tehsil. After the incident, the tournament organizers immediately stopped the match.
