Acharya Balkrishna honored with ‘Vishwa Ayurveda Ratna’, India’s pride increased on global stage

digital desk- Acharya Balkrishna, who played an important role in giving global recognition to Indian Ayurveda, has been honored with another prestigious international honour. He was decorated with the ‘Vishwa Ayurveda Ratna’ award, presented under the ‘Earth Award and High Impact Sustainability Dialogue 2026’ organized by Net Green Foundation. This grand ceremony was held at UNESCO House, in which many eminent experts and policy makers from India and abroad participated. Although Acharya Balkrishna could not be personally present at the ceremony, he dedicated this honor to the entire Indian Ayurveda and its thousands of years old tradition. He said in his message that this honor does not belong to any one person, but to the great Indian knowledge tradition, which has paved the way for the welfare of the entire humanity with the principle of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah”.
