How did Pakistan become a factory of terror, this decision of America is the big reason?
Pakistan Today it is called Terroristan. This country gives shelter to terrorists on its soil, but how this country became a factory of terrorism is a big question. There are many historical and political reasons behind this. Especially the decisions taken during the Cold War changed the direction of this entire region.
At that time, the ongoing competition between the superpowers made Afghanistan a battlefield, which had a direct impact on Pakistan as well. America’s policy of supporting fundamentalist forces during the Afghan war made the situation more complicated. Due to this decision, such structures were created in Pakistan which gradually promoted terrorism.
The story started from the Soviet-Afghan war
Spiritual guru Acharya Prashant told in a video that this entire story begins with the Soviet-Afghan war. The Soviet-Afghan War was a war that lasted for about 10 years in Afghanistan. On one side were the Soviet Union (Russian) forces, which were supporting the communist government there, and on the other side were fighters named Mujahideen, who wanted to remove that government. Mujahideen were getting support from America and Pakistan, because they did not want the Soviet Union to have complete control over Afghanistan. To stop this threat, America adopted a different strategy.
America encouraged fundamentalism
According to philosopher Acharya Prashant, America promoted a radical form of Islam at that time. Under this, radical fighters from all over the world were gathered in Pakistan.
Violence taught in madrassas
With the financial help of Saudi Arabia and American political support, a large number of madrassas were established on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. In these madrasas, education was given not religious but only about violence and murder. Its purpose was to strengthen the fight against the Soviet Union.
This is how Pakistan became a factory for terrorists
IITian Acharya Prashant further said that when the Soviet-Afghan war ended, a new problem emerged. The fighters who were prepared did not return to their countries. Instead they became active in different areas, such as Kashmir, West Asia and other conflict areas. According to Acharya Prashant, this was the turning point when Pakistan gradually became the center of terrorism. The network created here later gave birth to big terrorist organizations, which also include names like Islamic State.
cycle of ignorance and destruction
Acharya Prashant does not consider this entire issue to be limited only to politics. He says that ignorance and wrong thinking are also major reasons for this. When a person gets entangled in the thought of harming others, he harms his own future. In this way, Pakistan’s association with terrorism is not the result of a single incident, but a combined effect of international politics, war strategies and social conditions.
