Action against headmasters and teachers in Bihar, created panic!

News Desk. The district administration has taken a big step towards strengthening the education system in Rohtas district of Bihar. Salary action has been taken against science and mathematics teachers including headmasters of 195 government schools for not implementing MIP 3.7 on time under Project Based Learning (PBL). After the order, there is a stir among the teachers across the district.

Project not started despite deadline passing

District Program Officer (Sarva Shiksha) Rohit Roshan said that studies of PBL MIP 3.7 for students of classes 6 to 8 were to be started compulsorily by December 5. The main responsibility of implementing this project was entrusted to the teachers teaching science and mathematics.

For this, training was also given to the teachers, so that all the schools could start the project work on time. But even after the stipulated time had passed, this project could not be started in 195 schools of many blocks of the district except Tilothu and Nauhatta block, which the department has considered as serious negligence.

Demand for stoppage of salary payment and clarification

In view of this negligence, the salaries of the head teachers and teachers of related subjects of these schools of the district have been stopped till further orders. Also, all teachers and principals have been asked to respond to the show-cause notice within three days. The administration has made it clear that if the reply is not found satisfactory, further strict disciplinary action will be taken.

Punishment fell on teachers of many blocks of the district

The schools of the blocks in which action has been taken include many areas including Sasaram, Sivasagar, Sanjhauli, Rajpur, Nokha, Kochas, Dawath, Chenari, Bikramganj, Akodhigola. Only Tilothu and Nauhatta blocks have implemented the project on time, due to which they have been spared from action.
