Actor Praveen Dabas was injured in a road accident on Saturday, following which he has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Mumbai hospital, his family members said.
Actor Dabas has acted in Hindi and English language films like Mira Nair's 'Monsoon Wedding', 'Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara', 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', 'The Perfect Husband' and 'The World Unseen'.
Actor Dabas's wife and actress Preeti Jhangiani said in a statement that Dabas, co-founder of arm-wrestling competition Pro Panja League, has been admitted to Holy Family Hospital in Bandra.
The statement said, “We are sad to inform you that Bollywood actor and Pro Panja League co-founder Praveen Dabas was injured in a car accident on Saturday morning following which he has been admitted to the ICU of Holy Family Hospital, Bandra.” According to the statement, the Pro Panja League management is closely monitoring the situation.
The Delhi-born actor was recently seen in the second season of the webseries “Made in Heaven” and Tahira Kashyap's “Sharmaji Ki Beti”.
