Actor Rajpal Yadav will come out of jail, Delhi High Court puts interim stay on sentence
High Court stays Rajpal Yadav’s sentence : Delhi High Court has put an interim stay on the punishment of famous Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav in the check bounce case. The court said that considering the relief, Rs 1.5 crore has been deposited in the bank account of the respondent. The court ordered suspension of the sentence on the condition that Yadav gives a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and a surety of the same amount.

Rajpal Yadav has accepted the High Court order and has got interim bail. The court has also put many conditions before him, which he will have to fulfill. At present the actor will also have to surrender his passport. He will remain out of custody till March 18, when the court will hear the case again. In which the actor will have to be present either physically or virtually. Actor Sonu Sood has expressed happiness over the court’s decision. “Thanks to your prayers and unwavering support, the wait is almost over. It’s time to get ready, the laughter you’ve been missing is about to come back on screen. Stay tuned,” he wrote in the X-post.
Before the court’s decision, Sonu wrote in an X-post, “Today is an important day for our brother Rajpal Yadav Bhai. May things move in the right direction and he gets the relief he deserves. He is a rare talent and an amazing soul. Let’s not let this momentum end, we stand with him and will continue to support him until things get sorted out.”
Let us tell you that actor Rajpal Yadav had surrendered in the court on 6 February after the court order. He had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from Murali Projects Private Limited for his film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’, but due to the film being a flop, Rajpal was in huge debt. He had to go to jail because he could not repay the loan. After which actor Sonu Sood and JJD chief Tej Pratap Yadav came forward to help his family.
