Lahore: Renowned actress Nargis has reportedly suffered severe physical assault by her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir. The incident came to light when her brother, Khurram Bhatti, arrived at her residence and immediately called emergency services.
Speaking to the media, Khurram Bhatti stated, “Inspector Majid Bashir has subjected my sister to violence. The assault today was so severe that her condition has deteriorated.”
Nargis, a prominent figure in Pakistani cinema and theatre, married Inspector Majid Bashir a few years ago, after which she retired from the entertainment industry. Known for her bold performances and vibrant personality, her marriage marked a significant shift as she decided to leave show business and pursue a quieter life. In recent years, Nargis has been running a beauty salon, carving out a new path away from the public eye.
