Priya Bakshi Auto Incident: Late night of 14th February, a video of actress and model Priya Bakshi surfaced on social media, which immediately sparked debate. In the video, she is seen nervous while returning home by auto in Bandra area and is repeatedly appealing to the driver to stop the auto. According to Priya, the auto driver was taking her through a route which she was not able to recognise. However, later Priya also deleted this video.

Priya Bakshi made her Bollywood debut with the film “JNU: Jahangir National University”. According to her, she was going to her home from Bandra late at night. He took an auto rickshaw, but after some time he realized that the route the driver was taking was the wrong route. In the video, it is seen that she is nervous and is heard repeatedly requesting the driver to stop the auto.

In the video, Priya Bakshi is claiming that the route is not visible properly even on Google Maps, which further increased her concern. The driver’s voice is also heard in the video, who says, “The map is not showing the route, this is the right route.” Meanwhile, Priya keeps saying, “Stop the auto bhaiya, I will call the police, I don’t want to go with you.” Fear is clearly visible in his voice.

According to Priya, when she raised questions about the unknown route, the driver expressed his displeasure. The situation worsened when the auto reportedly stopped suddenly. He claimed that the driver told him about the area and said, “This is our area, don’t come here.”

After getting down from the auto, Priya is seen standing on the roadside and seen sad in the video. She says that being in a new city or asking for directions is not a crime in any way. He also said that people coming from different places should not be treated discriminatory. In the caption of his post, he wrote that being unknown in a city does not make anyone inferior. Similarly, asking questions is also not a matter of disrespect.
