ED interrogated actress Tamannaah Bhatia: Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia's troubles seem to be increasing. Actress Tamannaah Bhatia was interrogated by ED in Guwahati on Thursday. ED interrogated the actress in a case related to IPL 2023.

In his appearance before the ED, he was asked questions regarding Mahadev Batting App and Online Gaming. A few months ago also, he was summoned by Maharashtra Cyber Cell in the same case. Apart from Tamannaah Bhatia, there are many other celebrities involved in this case. In this case, till now many singers, actors and comedians have come under the radar of ED.
According to media reports, this case of investigation of illegal streaming dates back to September 2023, when Viacom had filed a complaint against the 'FairPlay' app accusing them of violating their Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Viacom Network had bought the broadcasting rights of IPL by making a high bid, but it was being telecasted illegally on the 'FairPlay' app.
Due to which Viacom Network allegedly suffered a loss of more than Rs 100 crore. After the FIR, many prominent personalities from the entertainment world including Tamannaah Bhatia, Badshah and Jacqueline Fernandez were interrogated.
Actually, the parent company of 'FairPlay' app is Mahadev Betting App, which is operated through many websites. This is a betting app, in which people invest money to earn money. Through this website, money is invested in games like poker, cricket, badminton, football in India. This can be called online gambling. The head quarter of this betting app is in UAE.
