Adam Sandler’s daughter Sadie takes on leading role in Netflix’s ‘Roommates’
In a new Netflix comedy, Sadie Sandler takes the lead in a project produced by her father Adam Sandler.
The giant streamer released the trailer for Roommates on March 10, featuring Sadie, 19, the older daughter of the 59-year-old actor and Jackie Sandler, as Devon; a college freshman navigating the challenges of campus life and making new friends.
“A hopeful, naive college freshman (who) asks the cool and confident Celeste (Chloe East) to be her roommate,” the official synopsis described Devon’s character.
However, their harmony is tested when Devon struggles with personal boundaries both inside and outside the dorm.
“A blossoming friendship spirals into a war of passive aggression,” the description continued.
Sadie Sandler took on her latest role in Roommatescontinuing a long-running collaboration with her father.
She began acting in his films with 2008’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, 2020’s Hubie Halloween and in 2023 performed alongside sister Sunny Sandler, mother Jackie Sandler, and Adam in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
In 2025, she also starred in Adam’s Netflix releases Happy Gilmore 2 and Jay Kelly.
