In the last few days, the services of IndiGo flights have completely collapsed. Thousands of flights were canceled across the country since last week. Millions of passengers stood in wait at the airports. There was a sensation all over the country. IndiGo Airlines faced minor technical glitches including flight delays. IndiGo attributed the problems to inclement weather and increasing congestion at airports. However, the pressure on airlines increased after the new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) rules implemented by the government. Although the rules were introduced to prevent pilot fatigue, the rules are seen as an additional burden for IndiGo, which is already grappling with manpower crunch. (Congress Viral Video)

Meanwhile, on the issue of Indigo crisis, Congress has released an AI video on its Instagram related to industrialist Gautam Adani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It shows a conversation between Gautam Adani and Narendra Modi. “Modi bhai aapne port diye, air port diye ab samaya aa gaya hai airlines me dhanda karne ka…, the conversation starts here. Why are you worried about it like coal ki kami batakar tumhe puri khan di thi waisehi tumhe piloto ki kami batakar pura air system bhi de dunga. Then a phone conversation of Modiji is shown.

In this Modiji (Narendra Modi) says over the phone, “Deshme piloto ki kami hai aisa abih bana do, Adani bhai ko piloto ka supplier banana hai.” From the front, sir apne adani ko jab se koyle kam diya hai koyla manhga hua tha, ab pilot ka kam de rahe ho to janata ki jebhi will be cut. Such a response is given. On this, Modi ji repeats, “Jitna bola gaya hai ut kaam karo, Janata par mahagaai ki mar padati hai to padne do, muje mere dost ko auramir karna hai,” the conversation is shown in the video.

Why doubt Adani in Indigo crisis?

India’s aviation and defense sector is witnessing a major change. Adani Group took an important ‘game changer’ decision when the country’s leading airline IndiGo was in trouble. Adani Defense Systems and Technologies Limited (ADSTL) has tied up with Prime Aero Services to buy majority stake in FSTC, the country’s largest flight training and simulation company. This deal was done for around Rs.820 crores. With this deal, it is clear that Gautam Adani’s business expansion is now not limited to airport management, but also into aviation and pilot training.

Adani’s foray into aviation sector; Purchase of majority stake in FSTC

The Adani Group has taken another giant leap into the aviation sector by buying a majority stake in Flight Simulation Technology Center (FSTC). With an enterprise value of around Rs 820 crore, the acquisition has sent shockwaves through the entire aviation market.

The transaction will enable the Adani Group to offer state-of-the-art training services to the civil as well as defense sector. The deal was officially announced last week. Now the positive impact of this acquisition on the Indian aviation sector is in the eyes of the industry.
