Adani is going to start 3 works in Bihar with Rs 28,000 crore. Gautam Adani jumped into power sector.

Adani Group is planning to set up a state-of-the-art 'Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Plant' in Bihar, for which an investment of around ₹20,000 crore is proposed. The project is likely to create approximately 12,000 jobs during the construction phase and approximately 1,500 skilled employment opportunities during operation.

Expansion of Cement Production:

The group will invest ₹2,500 crore in various phases to increase the production capacity of its cement factories in the state to 10 million tonnes per annum. This will boost the construction sector and increase local employment opportunities.

Logistics and infrastructure:

Adani Group plans to invest around ₹1,000 crore in the development of strategic infrastructure such as Gati Shakti Railway Terminal, Inland Container Depot (ICD) and industrial warehousing parks in Bihar. This investment will strengthen the logistics network of the state and facilitate trade activities.

Smart meter manufacturing:

Moving from traditional electricity meters to smart meters in Bihar, Adani Group will invest ₹2,100 crore for manufacturing and installation of over 28 lakh smart meters in Siwan, Gopalganj, Vaishali, Saran and Samastipur. This will create at least 4,000 local jobs.

Total Investment and Employment Generation:

Through all these projects, the Adani Group will collectively invest approximately ₹28,000 crore in Bihar, generating thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities. This investment will play an important role in the industrial development, strengthening of infrastructure and economic progress of the state.
