The company has named this feature Multiple Captions on a Carousel which can completely change the way of content presentation. As you know, till now only one caption could be given for carousel posts on Instagram which was applicable to all the slides. But after the new update, every slide will appear before the people with its own story and information.

Option to add unique caption on every slide

Information shared by Instagram head Adam Mosseri and @creators account states that users can easily use this feature while creating carousel posts. For which after selecting multiple photos or videos, you will have to go to the caption section and activate the Multiple Captions option. After doing this, a separate caption can be written for each slide. The good thing about this is that this feature has started rolling out in many countries including India.

Storytelling and tutorial content will be more powerful

This new feature is said to be especially beneficial for creators who share step-by-step information. In the future, it will be seen that content like travel vlogs, recipes, tutorials, educational posts and product reviews will be presented in a more organized manner. With the introduction of this feature, when users move from one slide to another, they will be able to read the caption related to it. Due to which it will become much easier and fun for the users to understand the information.
