Pakistan declared former military officer Adil Raja a terrorist, Raza said – it is a matter of honor for me
Pakistan Army Ex-Officer Adil Raja Claims Transnational Repression In UK: The Pakistan government has declared Major (retd) Adil Raza, who was a vocal critic of the policies of Army Chief General Asim Munir, as a terrorist under Schedule-4. After this tough decision, Adil Raza has called it a repressive act done by the military government.
Raza claims that this action has not been taken on the basis of any crime, but to raise voice against the government and suppress his fearless journalism. Raza, currently living in London, has termed it as a part of the repression campaign being run by Pakistan at the international level.
Allegation of attack on London house
Adil Raza has informed that after he was declared a terrorist, unknown assailants intruded on his house located in the suburbs of London. The attackers vandalized the house and scattered belongings, although his family was not at home at the time of the incident.
Raza believes that when the Pakistan government failed to extradite him from Britain, now such tactics are being used to intimidate him and his family. The local police has registered a report on this matter and started investigation.
Punishment for raising voice against power
Adil Raza said through social media that he sees this government announcement as a badge of honour. According to him, this decision is proof that their voice is disturbing the current military and political power of Pakistan.
He said that after the attack on Imran Khan’s close aide Shahzad Akbar, this incident that took place in his house is a matter of serious concern. Raza alleged that threats to the lives of critics of the Pakistan government living in the UK are increasing.

The struggle will continue despite repression
The former army officer has made it clear that no amount of harassment or fake cases can silence him. He has pledged that he will continue to raise his voice for democracy, freedom of expression and the rights of the common people of Pakistan.
Raza says that he will fight this legal battle at the international level and will further strengthen his journalism against human rights violations. This development has once again exposed the growing conflict between the military establishment and its critics in Pakistan.
