Paid previews of the film were scheduled to begin on 18 March at 5 pm, but technical issues and delays in the supply of material led to the cancellation of Tamil-Telugu shows in several South theatres. At some places, the Malayalam and Kannada versions were also affected, due to which the theaters apologized to the audience and started the refund process and offered the option of showing the Hindi version.

The director advised fans that if one is unable to attend the show, they can either get a refund or watch the Hindi version (with subtitles). He said, “We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. Our entire team is working hard day and night so that the film can hit the screens across the country tomorrow, March 19.” Reactions from fans were also mixed. Many users said in the comments that their Hindi show also faced problems. Some demanded the release of the full version without cuts on the OTT platform.
