Aditya Sahu becomes Jharkhand BJP President, formal announcement made on Wednesday

Ranchi: Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu has been elected unopposed as Jharkhand BJP state president. His election was formally announced on Wednesday afternoon without opposition. Union Minister and BJP election officer Jual Oraon announced his election. During this time, many senior BJP leaders including outgoing state president and leader of opposition Babulal Marandi were present.

There is enthusiasm among the workers after Aditya Sahu, who comes from OBC community, became the state president. Aditya Sahu was currently the working president of the state BJP. Aditya Sahu, who comes from Vaishya community, is considered to have a good hold on the organization. Many big leaders of the party were being considered for the race for state president, but the party high command expressed confidence in Aditya Sahu.

Many big leaders of Jharkhand BJP have been elected as National Council members. These include former CMs Arjun Munda, Raghubar Das, Madhu Koda and Champai Soren, MPs Sanjay Seth and Deepak Prakash, Union Minister Annapurna Devi, and former MPs Kariya Munda and Geeta Koda.
