Create a routine
If you create a routine for yourself, it can help you manage your tasks and all your responsibilities better, making your day easier and less stressful.
- Include 'me time' in your daily routine. Taking time for yourself is essential as it will help you re-charge your energy.
- Whether it is taking a stroll in the green open spaces, swimming or reading a good book, this personal time is essential for de-stressing. It will help you disconnect from the daily stress and focus on your progress.
Meditation and Mindfulness-A Simple Meditation Technique
- Find a quiet place, sit comfortably, close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
- Watch your breath come and go. If your mind wanders to other things, gently bring it back to the rhythm of the breath. Start with a few minutes and then gradually increase the time of meditation as you become more comfortable.
- Even a few minutes of meditation every day can help manage the challenges of managing the household easily.
Mindfulness in daily chores
- Pay more attention to your daily tasks.
- Be it cutting vegetables, cooking food or watering the plants, work with full concentration, without any distractions and appreciate every moment.
- Mindfulness turns routine tasks into opportunities to relax.
