ADOR’s ex-CEO Min Hee Jin claims “cheerful and lively” BTS’ V reached out to her amidst the chaos

Min Hee Jin, the erstwhile CEO of ADOR, disclosed on a YouTube talk show that BTS member V had contacted her while he was still serving in the military. She thought back to how, during these difficult times, the K-pop artist reached out to her and inquired about her wellbeing.

When Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, made an appearance as a guest on Kim Young Dae’s YouTube channel, School of Music with Kim Young Dae, on October 29, 2024, she talked about the HYBE controversy. She also revealed that Kim Taehyung, better known as V of BTS, calls her from the military on occasion and describes him as “cheerful and lively.” She continued, “Even when I was going through a tough time, he called with his usual bright tone, asking, ‘You’re okay, right?’ He told me he was worried about the timing of his calls, and I really appreciated his concern.”

According to Min Hee Jin, Taehyung left a lasting impression on her when he contacted her at dawn on her birthday, even from the military. She said that the K-pop star was a kind person and that she was moved by his actions. Thinking back on the counsel she offered him, she said that he had inquired as to whether it was proper for her to be so transparent about who she really was. She replied that she had just been straightforward with him.

The Seoul Central District Court denied Min Hee Jin’s request to be reinstated as the CEO of ADOR earlier today. HYBE said that it was grateful with the court’s ruling, saying,  “We are grateful for the court’s wise judgment and will focus on normalizing ADOR’s operations and supporting our artists.”

However, the former CEO’s team voiced dissatisfaction, arguing that the shareholder agreement is still valid and calling on HYBE to restore her to the CEO position. Her representatives hinted at the possibility of taking further action to pursue her rights if she is not reinstated.
